Indications:
Metrigen is a suspension of Ceftiofur (a third-generation cephalosporin) intended for the treatment of acute and chronic metritis in cattle, horses, and pigs.
Dosage:
Cattle, horses, and pigs: One 20 mL syringe per treatment; in chronic cases, treatment may be repeated according to professional judgment.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat: 48 hours after the last treatment Milk: No residues are left.
Composition:
Each mL contains:
Ceftiofur Hydrochloride 25 mg and Excipients q.s.p. 1 mL
Presentation:
Syringe with 20 mL
Accompanied by a catheter and disposable gloves
Administration:
Intrauterine.
Warnings:
Shake the product before application. It may cause allergic reactions in animals sensitive to penicillins. Do not use with furosemide or aminoglycosides. Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, protected from light. Keep out of the reach of children and domestic animals.
Prescription required.
