Description

Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory, Antipyretic

Indications:

Its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties make this NSAID the ideal treatment for managing and relieving pain caused by surgical procedures and traumatic events in canines.

Its potential specificity in inhibiting cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), phospholipase A2, and prostaglandin synthesis allows for its administration over extended periods without the subsequent side effects of other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This effect facilitates the control of chronic pain associated with degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis), hip or elbow dysplasia, and intervertebral disc disease, among others.
