Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 5mg / 5 ml ORAL SOLUTION “Safe, immediate, and long-lasting action” Indications: Antiallergic (Seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria) Dosage: Each 100 ml contains 100 mg of Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride Children between 2 and 6 years: The recommended dose is 1.25 mg (equivalent to 1.25 ml of oral solution) every 12 hours. Children between 6 and 12 years: The recommended dose is 5 mg (equivalent to 5 ml of oral solution) every 24 hours. Adults and adolescents over 12 years: The recommended dose is 5 mg (equivalent to 5 ml of oral solution) every 24 hours. Elderly: Dose adjustment is recommended for the elderly with moderate to severe renal dysfunction. Patients with Renal Insufficiency (dosage adjustment). Contraindications: – Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine or any other component of the formula. – Prostatic hypertrophy. – Patients on hemodialysis and end-stage renal disease. – Caution is advised with the intake of alcohol and CNS depressant medications. – Levocetirizine should be prescribed to pregnant women and during lactation under medical supervision.
